Welcome to the PopEd Toolkit

I created the PopEd toolkit back in 1998, based on work that I had done in previous years.  At the time I had a sense of what the web could be and how interactive tools could allow facilitators to share and develop tools spontaniously.  Unfortunately, back when I first created the PopEd Toolkit this level of interaction was beyond the grasp of most community level organizations.

Teacher Talk - Ice Breakers

Grade 7-12 - The teacher and students will learn each others' names and some information about each other.

Meeting Wizard's Ice Breakers

Ice breakers are a great way to begin a meeting. They help to relax participants, and that makes them more receptive to listening and contributing.

Icebreakers, Warm-up, Review, and Motivator Activities

For the following activities, it often helps to break the group into couples or trios. The smaller groups allow for more discussion, keeps participants from mentally wondering off, builds rapport, and allows for "one-on-one" relationships.
